Bihar STET 2026: Eligibility Criteria

• Secondary (Class-9th to 10th) Paper-I :- Bachelor Degree in Related with Subject with Minimum 50% Marks and B.Ed Exam Passed.
• Senior Secondary (Class-11th & 12th) Paper-II :- Post Graduate (PG)  Degree with Second Division in Related Subject and B.Ed Exam Passed. (For Computer Science Subject Candidates, B.Ed. Degree is Not Compulsory.).
• Important Note:- In case of SC/ ST/ EBC/ BC & Divyang Will Be Given Relaxation Up to 5%.
• Degrees must be from UGC/NCTE-recognized institutions.
• Age/ Qaulfication for Other State Candidates (All Category) treated as General Caterory.
• Candidates must be Indian citizens.

Bihar STET 2026: Paper/ Subject Wise Education Qualification Details

Paper I (For Secondary Level - Classes 9-10)

1. Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, English, Bengali, Maithili, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri:
   • Bachelor's degree with the respective subject and a 2-Year B.Ed. from a recognized institution, or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) like BA-B.Ed./B.Sc.-B.Ed.
2. Mathematics:
   • Bachelor's degree with Mathematics and at least one of Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Statistics, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Mathematics.
3. Science:
   • Bachelor's degree with Zoology, Botany, and Chemistry, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Science.
4. Social Science:
   • Bachelor's degree with at least two subjects from History, Geography, Political Science, or Economics (with History or Geography compulsory), along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP)
5. Physical Education:
   • 10th pass with a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Physical Education, along with a 2-Year B.Ed. or equivalent.
6. Fine Arts/Dance/Music:
   • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts/Dance/Music with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in the respective field.

Paper II (For Higher Secondary Level - Classes 11-12)

1. Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, English, Bengali, Maithili, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri:
   • Master's degree in the respective subject with at least 50% marks from a UGC-recognized university, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP).
2. Mathematics:
   • Master's degree in Mathematics with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Mathematics.
3. Physics:
   • Master's degree in Physics with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Physics.
4. Chemistry:
   • Master's degree in Chemistry with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Chemistry.
5. Biology:
   • Master's degree in Botany or Zoology with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Biology.
6. History:
   • Master's degree in History with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with History.
7. Geography:
   • Master's degree in Geography with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Geography.
8. Political Science:
   • Master's degree in Political Science with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Political Science.
9. Economics:
   • Master's degree in Economics with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Economics.
10. Sociology:
    • Master's degree in Sociology with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Sociology.
11. Psychology:
    • Master's degree in Psychology with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Psychology.
12. Philosophy:
    • Master's degree in Philosophy with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Philosophy.
13. Home Science:
    • Master's degree in Home Science with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Home Science.
14. Commerce:
    • Master's degree in Commerce with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year  B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Commerce.
15. Computer Science:
    • Master's degree in Computer Science/Applications or MCA with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year  B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Computer Science.
16. Agriculture:
    • Master's degree in Agriculture with at least 50% marks, along with a 2-Year B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) with Agriculture.
17. Physical Education:
    • 10th pass with a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Physical Education, along with a Master's degree in Physical Education and a 2-Year  B.Ed., or a 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP).

Bihar STET 2026 : प्रमाण पत्र अपलोड करना

आप अपनी पात्रता साबित करने के लिए नीचे दिए गए प्रमाण पत्रों की स्व-सत्यापित (self-attested) प्रतियां अपलोड करें।

• मैट्रिक (10वीं) का प्रमाण पत्र और अंक पत्र (यह आपकी जन्म तिथि के लिए भी जरूरी है)।

• इंटर (12वीं) का प्रमाण पत्र और अंक पत्र।

• स्नातक का प्रमाण पत्र और अंक पत्र।

• स्नातकोत्तर का प्रमाण पत्र और अंक पत्र।

• बी.एड. का प्रमाण पत्र और अंक पत्र।

• यदि आपके पास कोई अन्य शैक्षणिक योग्यता है, तो उसका प्रमाण पत्र भी दें।

• सक्षम अधिकारी द्वारा जारी किया गया आवासीय प्रमाण पत्र।

• अनुसूचित जाति/अनुसूचित जनजाति के उम्मीदवारों के लिए सक्षम अधिकारी द्वारा जारी किया गया जाति प्रमाण पत्र।

• अत्यंत पिछड़ा वर्ग/पिछड़ा वर्ग के उम्मीदवारों के लिए सक्षम अधिकारी द्वारा जारी किया गया क्रीमीलेयर रहित प्रमाण पत्र।

  (नोट: आरक्षण का लाभ लेने वाली विवाहित महिलाओं का जाति और क्रीमीलेयर रहित प्रमाण पत्र उनके पिता के नाम और पते से जारी होना चाहिए, पति के नाम से नहीं।)

• यदि आप दिव्यांगता का दावा कर रहे हैं, तो सक्षम अधिकारी द्वारा जारी किया गया वैध दिव्यांग प्रमाण पत्र।

• भूतपूर्व सैनिक होने के कारण अधिकतम आयु सीमा में छूट पाने के लिए आपके पास भूतपूर्व सैनिक होने का प्रमाण पत्र होना चाहिए।

📋 How to Apply Bihar STET 2026 Online Form

1. Visit the official website stetregistration.cbrt.co.in.
2. Click on the “New Registration / Apply Online” link for Bihar STET 2026.
3. Enter your basic details (Name, Mobile Number, Email ID) and complete the registration process.
4. Login using the Registration Number / User ID and Password received on your registered mobile/email.
5. Fill the complete application form carefully with personal, educational, and other required details.
6. Upload scanned photograph, signature, and other necessary documents as per the prescribed format.
7. Pay the application fee online through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
8. Submit the form and download the confirmation page. Take a printout for future reference.

Note: Online Application starts from 17 August 2026 and Last Date to apply is 31 August 2026. Candidates are advised to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.
